Christmas!

One of my favorite pictures of the holiday season this year is this one of The Guy and The Little One putting the star on the tree. So precious!

We had Christmas Eve dinner with four couples and one single man from our ward. It was so enjoyable to spend time with them. Unfortunately I didn't take any picture of our group.
And I loved that one of the couples wanted to make the main course for dinner! Hooray!
The Beef Wellington was amazing!

The Little One was especially cute with the idea of Santa Claus this year. She kept asking what she could give to Santa. After much thought she decided to give him "a reindeer and some sleighs". So she made him the bottom card to go along with them.
(Woof-woof made the top card.)

This is a drawing The Little One made of the reindeer and the sleighs; and of she and Santa.

Christmas morning dawned bright with a few excited sleepless children.
Luckily we had gotten the stockings filled and everyone was happy!

Gifts were opened and played with.
Our day was casual and fun. We had a lovely breakfast with friends and then had Chinese take-out for dinner with some other friends. It was a great day.

And we were a little late, but we got our gingerbread houses decorated the day after Christmas with a friend!

We feel so blessed to be able to celebrate Christmas with friends.
We miss our families, but are glad for others to be there on holidays with us.

Merry Christmas to all!
