Our annual trip to County Line Orchard

Our yearly trip to the orchard was just perfect this year. We usually have gone on one of our fall parent/teacher conference days off school, but this year we couldn't do either of those days. So we found a day and pulled the kids out of school early to go. I love getting out and spending time out of the city with the kids.

The kids always enjoy the tractor ride.
First we went to the corn maze. It had been raining all day(and it sprinkled on us while we were there which just added to the fun) so we had to watch out for puddles. The Little One ended up slipping and getting quite wet...
With my love.
Sweetie posing for a shot.
Playing in the puddles. They could have stayed there for hours.
We made it back out.
The Little One was extremely excited about picking her own pumpkin. She took her pumpkin picking very seriously.
Wheelbarrow rides! Sweetie thought The Guy was going to run into me!
Protecting her pumpkin on the tractor ride back.
Even though we had two dozen cider donuts in the trunk we stopped for some ice cream on the way home.
The kids loved eating the cones in the car.

I love going to the orchard and getting our apples for applesauce. Now to find the time to get it made.
