Hurricane Sandy

Hurricane Sandy produced some really great waves on Lake Michigan.
I went on a field trip with Woof-woof's class during the day and we drove along Lake Shore Drive and saw how amazing the waves were. So after school I took the kids on a drive and we watched the waves. Then we went out to the point and watched the waves.

Wave shots are hard to get and hard to show how big the waves really are, but here are some of my favorites:
The Willis tower is the small, but tall, building that the wave looks like it's crashing against.
Some of us may have enjoyed the cold wind and watching the waves more than others.
Yes, two people are crying in every picture we took of them!
But two of us loved watching the waves.
We could have stayed all afternoon. It was fun to watch them crashing against the point.
Amazing! And a little frightening.
