Fifty-two

One of our favorite places to go in Chicago is to the point - a little man-made peninsula in Lake Michigan.

Sweetie got a new bike so we headed out so he could try it on a longer distance than around our courtyard.

Each spring for a few weeks it feels like we're in the Bay Area - it gets really foggy each evening.
I love this time of year.

Looking around for rocks to throw in the lake.

A very kind man passing us offered to take a family picture. Hooray!

They found a few big rocks.

We tried not to get too wet.

Getting the kids into our spot.

Our spot is near our favorite sandy beach
(this beach is likely to disappear in a big storm - it wasn't here when we moved here)

With some trees in the background so you can see the changing seasons.
Along with silly faces.

We've decided to take a picture here every week for the next year, so look out for more pictures of this lovely place.
