June 27 - Digne les Baines

Pouting faces(except Sweetie who had just been crying moments before I took this picture but didn't want that to be documented...).

Why the pouting faces?

Megs had some errands with her visa to run in a town called Digne les Baines(name the book that starts in this town and you'll get a chocolate).  So we decided to drive up with her to go to a local reserviour.  Unfortunately they were draining it so we couldn't go.

But we thought of a back-up plan!

We headed to the local pool to go swimming there.

But they wouldn't let us in because we didn't have speedos for the boys or a one piece swimsuit for Woof-woof to wear.  We thought about buying some that they were selling in a vending machine at the pool, but it would have cost us quite a pretty penny AND the pool was closing for siesta(lunch break) in an hour.  So we didn't go.

Hence the pouting faces.

     But Megs still had to get her visa figured out(she was going to leave us at the reservior) so we improvised with games on a small grassy area near the prefectures office.

Here they are playing a combination of human bowling and red rover(ie: hit a person by rolling a ball at them and they're on your team).

 These two are trouble.  But cute trouble at least!

 After Megs got her paperwork finished, we headed back to near their place and found a reservior with water in it!  

Hooray for swimming.

 After a good swim the kids played on the playground.  They loved this combination see-saw, tire swing, merry-go-round.

After a few tears and some pouting moments we ended the day on a good note and had a great time!
