The Little One is ONE!

There's no better way to start your birthday than with a shoulder ride from your big brother(his poor ear)!

 Then she got to "help" in Woof-woof's classroom by sitting so nicely in her stroller while I made pancakes.  She got to enjoy some too!

 We went to a nearby playroom so she could have some fun.  She found the dollhouse and spent some time exploring it.

 Since The Guy was away on her actual birthday we had cupcakes a few days later.

 She was enamored and frightened by the candle.

 There was no hesitation on what she should do with that cupcake.

 She was remarkably clean though.  This was the end.  She started dropping the cupcake at this point.  I was impressed that she hadn't made more of a mess on herself.

 And a few days later she opened presents.

 These buckets should look familiar.  We've had them since Sweetie was little.  Thanks P & A, they're still being put to great use!

 The one present we bought her - Tissues!

 I love watching babies have fun with a box of tissues.

 She was funny because she enjoyed pulling the individual tissues apart more than getting all of them out of the box.  It took her a long time to get through all of them.  She was determined to enjoy them to the last rip.

1 year stats:

Weight: 19 lbs 11 oz - 25th percentile

Height: 27 1/2 inches - 10th percentile

Head Circumference: 18 inches

We love our Little One.  

She is such a joy to be around.  

She has a funny sense of humor - she always wants to make you laugh and she loves to laugh too.

She can say, "bye bye" "da da" and "ah oh"

She is a master at the stairs.  Up and down(although I'm still nervous about the down part).

She is a mama's girl(we're working on that).

She squirms with delight when she sees Sweetie and Woof-woof after school.

She's perfect at acting her age.

We love her so much!
