... is to point out to your family that there is a bat flying above them (we were outside on the back lawn). All of them will be so nervous about the bat getting them that they won't be able to pay one bit of attention to the rest of the lesson or even finish giving the lesson.
And then there won't even be a closing prayer because who can shut their eyes with a bat flying around.
Next time I'll wait until Family Home Evening is over to point out the bat.

I'm pretty sure bats and FHE go well together. You can talk about the creation, and where vampires fit in.
