Utah with the Pope family

We had the lovely opportunity to go to Utah for the holidays.  I can say that it was one of the loveliest trips that we've had.  No one got sick and we had a wonderful time.  (I'll split the posts between both families.)

Here are some highlights from our time with the Pope family:

Grandpa pulled his guns out for the boys.
Sweetie LOVED learning about guns and LOVED that Grandpa took him shooting.
A lot of this went on.
What is this? you ask.  Dr. Mario and Mario Cart.
We had plenty of competitions!
New toys (ie: boxes) to play with!
The Guy's parents gave all of us a few days at a cabin together for their Christmas present.  It was a wonderful time where we got to get away from the hustle and bustle and just be together.

We had played more Mario Cart & Dr. Mario!
We played in the only snow that was to be found within miles!
We played Hearts (and plenty of other games).
 More hearts!
 We sang karaoke!
 Woof-woof singing her song.
(I'll post videos of some of the highlights of karaoke in another post!)

The Little One somehow found our candy bag and had at it while "she was napping"...

Christmas was lovely.
I love it when Christmas is on a Sunday and we can go to church.

The Little One LOVED the shoes that Santa gave her!
It's difficult to be the one awake when you want to open presents.
Those boys can sure sleep!

Finally Woof-woof got to open her presents!
 Sweetie with his stocking.
We dubbed them Fred & George.
A bunch of good loot for those boys!

We had a lovely time with the Pope's.
We are truly blessed to be part of their family!
